PRESIDENT Alex Manfrin
Is a comedy writer and performer of satire (mostly character comedy), as well as a Lighting Designer, with over 20 years' experience.
He’s worked as a film curator and is a previous Event Coordinator of The Laugh Resort.
Primarily now working in visual arts/graphic design with his own humourous greeting card company Tantamount.
EVENT COORDINATOR Di Star
Joined the Laugh Resort in 2000 and has held the positions of President (2007-2011) and Event Coordinator (2003-2007 & 2016-present).
Holds a broadcast journalism degree and has run PR & Marketing for local and touring independent theatre and comedy shows in and outside of festivals for near on 18 years.
Was The Blue Room Theatre Marketing Manager for five years before four years in event PR & Communications for the City of Perth.

TREASURER Steven Hellwig
Is a comedian with over 20 years’ experience on stage, television and both commercial and community radio. He has served on the Laugh Resort (Inc.) board on and off since 1996 and is a great believer in maintaining the charter of the Laugh Resort and the opportunities it offers emerging comics.
SECRETARY Brad Hearne
Is a part-time comedian with a background in business administration. He's worked in the public sector for over a decade and is currently studying a Diploma of Business at Central Institute. He has 10 years experience in Theatre (both production and as a comedy performer), producing and presenting his own solo festival shows.

aka Narelle Belle has had a varied creative journey. As a comedian she’s performed at various WA comedy clubs, early on competing in the State Final of Raw Comedy. Narelle spent over five years as radio Producer/Announcer for the legendary Johnny Young on 6IX. As a vocalist, Narelle’s kept busy with her cabaret shows A night with Liza Minnelli, An Evening with Karen Carpenter, Amy Housewine, Minnelli n Martin, and The Frocky Horror Show. Being a professional singer and MC has resulted in national and international travel. As an actor, Narelle has appeared in mini series, ads, feature films and theatre, including The Maj Monologues and in The Blue Room Theatre’s Solo Spot.
Is a Sound Engineer, having completed a Certificate in Live Sound at Central Institute. He’s done live mixing at events from churches to pubs and at Kelmscott Annual Show.
Dabbles in graphic design and runs a WA Facebook group for Sound and Lighting operators.
